Offer accepted for the Crown Hotel

An offer has been accepted for the Crown Hotel in Stone, which has been up for sale since unexpectedly closing its doors at the end of July.

The historic, Grade II listed building closed down on 23rd July and was initially on the market with Christie and Co for £1.5 million. That was quickly reduced in early August to £750,000.

  • I read this post fully about the comparison of latest and previous
    technologies, it’s remarkable article.

My parents and grandparents managed this hotel in the 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s and I have some lovely old photographs of the hotel in its full glory!  I was thinking of a visit up to Stone and then saw that the hotel was now closed.  I too hope that the new owners give the hotel the care and restoration it deserves!

Hopefully, whoever the new owners are, they will be professional hoteliers with a programme of refurbishment and a robust staff-training policy to help put the Crown Hotel back where it belongs as the prestigious venue it once was.
