A full afternoon of free entertainment

Stone Town Council is inviting residents and visitors to head to the High Street from midday for a packed afternoon of music and celebration. The event is completely free and welcomes families, friends, and neighbours to bring their chairs, pack a picnic, and enjoy the summer atmosphere together.

The musical line-up features three bands on the main stage:

  • The Funkbreakers – kicking things off at approximately 12:45 pm with their lively, feel-good set
  • The Herbaceous Borders – on stage from around 2:00 pm bringing more local energy
  • Fleetwood Mad – a Fleetwood Mac tribute band headlining the afternoon from 3:20 pm, sure to get everyone singing along

Local favourite Kath Stanway will be compering the event and keeping crowds entertained between sets.

Plenty for all ages

Alongside the music, Warwick’s funfair will be set up along the High Street, offering rides and games for children and families. Food and drink will be available from local cafés, pubs, and restaurants, as well as street vendors selling hot food, cakes, and ice cream.

The event is expected to finish at around 5:00 pm.

A word from the organisers

Councillor Jill Hood, Chair of the Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee, said:

“I am very pleased that the Council is able to put on what I’m sure will be another very successful, free-to-attend, street party. Come along with your friends and family and get set to party the day away! I very much look forward to seeing you all there!”
