Stone Carnival Week programme announced for 2026

Stone Carnival Week will return this summer with more than a week of events across the town, leading up to the main parade and carnival weekend.

Stone Carnival Programme 2026

The 2026 programme runs from Saturday 30 May to Sunday 7 June, with activities planned at Stone Old Alleynians, Stone High Street, The Crown Wharf, St Dominic’s Social Club, Stone town centre and Westbridge Park.

A week of events across Stone

The programme begins with Stone Carnival’s five a side tournament at Stone Old Alleynians on Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31 May.

Spectators are welcome, with the tournament taking place at the club on Oulton Road from 9am to 2pm. There will also be medals, a tombola and prizes on site.

St Dominic’s Social Club will host an Elvis tribute evening on Saturday 30 May, with a raffle entry included in the ticket and a £50 cash prize to be won.

One change to the printed programme is that the tractor run, which had been listed for Sunday 31 May, has been cancelled.

From bikes to treasure hunting

Two Wheel Tuesday returns to Stone High Street on Tuesday 2 June, bringing motorbikes into the town centre as part of the carnival week programme. This event is always massive, with a great selection of bikes of all types.

On Wednesday 3 June, The Crown Wharf will host a mediumship evening with Ruth James, with raffle prizes also planned.

A carnival treasure hunt will take place in Stone town centre on Thursday 4 June. Organisers say those taking part will follow clues for the chance to win a treasure chest worth up to £100.

Warwick’s Funfair is also due to open at Westbridge Park on Thursday 4 June and will continue through the carnival weekend.

Quiz night and carnival weekend

St Dominic’s Social Club will host Carnival Quiz Night on Friday 5 June, with a cash prize for the winning team.

The main Stone Carnival Parade takes place through Stone on Saturday 6 June, followed by a day of activities at Westbridge Park. Saturday’s programme also includes a remembrance walk and Warwick’s Funfair.

Carnival Sunday on 7 June will bring more activity to Westbridge Park, including the Westbridge 5, as well as the Local Artists’ Art Exhibition at St Dominic’s Social Club. The exhibition will be free to enter, with a coffee and cake café open while people browse.

Keeping up to date

Organisers say donation stations will be available at events, with cash and card accepted to support the carnival.

Any changes to the programme will be announced on the Stone Carnival website and Facebook page.
