Minibus Real Ale Trail – by Twitter!

Tuesday night saw the first Titanic Minibus Real Ale Trail of this year’s Stone Food & Drink Festival – and one man on board kept people updated via Twitter.

James Billingham (@bilstar on Twitter) posted updates and photos throughout Tuesday night, and they were great to read!

The pubs featured on the trail this year are The Brushmakers’ Arms in Oulton, The Green Man in Milwich, The Red Lion in Dayhills, Little Stoke Cricket Club, The Greyhound in Burston, The Railway in Norton Bridge, The Fitzherbert Arms in Swynnerton and The Labour in Vain in Yarnfield.

The minibus will be rolling around Stone and surrounding areas again on Tuesday 29th and Thursday 30th. To be honest, they’re more than likely a sell-out but log on to the official food festival website here for more details.

Here is James’s Twitter take on the first Titanic Minibus Real Ale Trail…

The Greyhound bar. Overloaded! Good service though. Nice pub.

9pm

Labour in Vain. Does food! Empty now but full when we got here. Again, lovely pub.

9.30pm

The Brushmakers in Oulton. Before.

9.45pm

And The Brushmakers during. Should have more people in this place. Homely. Comfy.

10.10pm
Dark and slightly drunk in the bus. Where to next? We have singing too!

11.15pm

Rather drunk now. Romping Cat always fun. Intimate. Home now for a hangover tomorrow.
