The school’s junior and senior choirs, as well as the brass band, performed with the male voice choir at St Dominic’s Church on behalf of the Dominican Sisters. A packed church with residents, family and friends listened to a repertoire of Christmas music by the choirs and joined in carols as a prelude to Advent. Sister Angela Mary, head of the Dominican Sisters in Stone, said: “It was a wonderful evening for all and will benefit the residents by providing some extra comforts.”

Seen presenting the cheque to Anne Clarke, manager, and Joanne Nott of St Mary’s Home, is Sister Angela Mary, Talitha Stubbs, Amelia Moore and Lisa Murphy of St Dominic’s Priory School, and Barry Tunnicliffe of City of Stoke-on-Trent Male Voice Choir.
