A Couple of DripsThe monthly podcast, “A Couple of Drips”, is currently steaming through its second season, we catch up with the podcast’s Stone creator, Kris Grainger to hear more.

For those who don’t know, “A Couple of Drips” is a podcast run by Stone-based voice-over artist and musician, Kris Grainger out of his studio “Cup The Mic”.

The podcast talks to local people, and those from the area that have an interesting job or hobby. Each month Kris invites guests to join him in the studio to try a new artisan coffee, Kris is VERY passionate about his coffee, and to discuss their hobby or interest. Topics include favourite coffee destinations, guests’ claim to fame, mental health, freelancing, obsessions and travel; to name but 6.

Recent shows have seen Kris talk to local writer and journalist Jamie Summerfield, guitar builder Chris Baxter, and musician Dave Patrick.

The new episode is out this Friday, the 1st July, where Kris talks to Dave Deakin who will talk about moving to Stone, Record Store Day (Fish Records), Bear Coffee and his hobbies and obsessions, check out the links at the bottom of the article.

Upcoming episodes are set to include Peter Morgan from Stone’s Fish Records, personal trainers, record collectors and there are even two specials planned to address mental health in the area, post-lockdown!
