Meet the stars of the Great British Bake Off!
Calling all Bake off fans – no less than THREE stars from the hit show will headline the fest this year; showing off their skills on the Culinary Showcase stage before meeting & greeting festival goers. 2024 contestant Sumayah Kazi will take the stage on Friday; 2023 winner Matty Edgell will headline Saturday and on Sunday 2024 favourite Nelly Ghaffar will entertain crowds. Sharing the bill will be cookery demos by some of the region’s top local chefs and talks from passionate producers…
MORE family fun!
Roll up, roll up! Panic Family Circus is BACK – with Prof Elmo & Co running regular Big Top performances, circus skills workshops and Punch & Judy Shows. On Saturday & Sunday you can sign the kids up for FREE cookery classes while there will be Kids’ Discos taking place daily on the main stage plus crafting fun, friendly farm animals to meet & pay as you go fairground rides & face painting.
NEW Competition Stage
Will you be our very own Star Baker? Bring along your best bake each day for judging in the Stone Great Bake Off, with the winner crowned on Sun afternoon. You’ll also find a host of different ways to get hands-on with fun foodie challenges – from pizza making and cake decorating to biscuit dunking and more, plus ‘10 Minute Tastings’ showcasing delicious treats…
Great live music
With later opening hours, some great live acts will really get the party started on the live music stage – which this year is under cover! The Friday lineup includes The Formula and House Jammerz; Saturday bands include Johnny Allen, another act yet to be finalised and Sonic Boom while on Sunday Kenyon Walker, Guitar Monkey and Voice Boxes will keep the crowds entertained. Another new addition to the field will be the DJ Tent where revellers can kick back, relax and enjoy their food & drink listening to chilled-out tunes spun by top local DJs.
