Stone’s biggest foodie weekend is back from 9th to 11th May 2025, and as it celebrates 20 years of bringing flavour and fun to Westbridge Park, it’s the town’s business community that deserves a hearty round of applause.
The Stone Food and Drink Festival is proudly not-for-profit, and its continued success is only possible because of the backing it receives from local sponsors. This year, Drac Logistics leads the way as main sponsor for the third year running, joined by a wide range of businesses who are helping to fund new features, expanded zones and a fresh look for 2025.
Local businesses take centre stage
Festival director Ed Stant said:
“It’s fantastic to have so many local businesses supporting the festival in this milestone year. As a not-for-profit event we genuinely couldn’t do it without them. Their support has helped us refresh the line up and put on a great new programme for 2025, with additions like GBBO stars performing each day, more live music, longer opening hours, a new competition stage where visitors can join in with the fun and more for families. It’s great to see the local business community get behind something that brings so much to the town.”
Each part of the festival has its own local champion. Joule’s Brewery is backing the lively Live Music Stage, while cookery fans can look forward to demonstrations on the Culinary Showcase Stage thanks to support from Lunar Wedgwood. Shoppers will be well catered for too, with the Gourmet Shopping Village supported by James du Pavey and the Home and Garden Marquee presented in partnership with HortiWool.
There’s also a brand new Competition Stage this year, sponsored by Stone Traders’ Group, featuring fun foodie challenges including the first ever Great Stone Bake Off. Festival-goers can also enjoy drinks from the Pop-up Bar hosted by The Clubhouse Stoke and take their time exploring the full line-up of street food, artisan producers and traders dotted throughout the site.
Something for everyone
Families can once again enjoy a packed Family Zone, sponsored by St Dominic’s Priory School, offering creative activities, games and entertainment for younger visitors. The festival map, provided by Stonegate Wealth Management, will help visitors make the most of their day, while Barlow Motors will be back on site with a display of the latest vehicles.
With more music, more flavour and more reasons to join in, the 2025 festival is shaping up to be a celebration of everything that makes Stone special.
