Police have confirmed that a man from Stone has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife or sharp-pointed article.
In a Statement from Staffordshire Police, a spokesperson told A Little Bit of Stone:

“A man has been charged after a teenage boy suffered an injury to his neck in Stone.
Jamie Coleman, aged 33, from Stone, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife or sharp-pointed article in a public place.
It comes after we were called by our colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service to reports of a stabbing at Westbridge Park at about 9.20pm on Friday (2 August).
A teenage boy was found with a neck injury at the scene and taken to hospital.
His injuries were not deemed serious, and he was later discharged.
Coleman will appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow (Monday 5 August).”

from what i have read, this is all wrong. i know jamie very well and he is going through alot, he was and still is. you have no right to judge someone who is a nice person and made a mistake. jamie is out of prison and still has had his ups and downs while he was out im not going to lie. but, he is sober from everything, drugs and alcohol and he is in rehab getting better. please do not judge this man anymore as he is trying his best and he is so so sorry to the whole of stone and his, and this boys family. this man is a loyal person, the kindest, caring, amazing person i have ever met and news lying about him like this is so upsetting for people who know him. please do not post a newsletter only defending one side, sort it out because these police and judges obviously dont know anything about what happened because this is all wrong. the boy jamie assaulted is a horrible person and needs some help with his behaviour. he bullied my brother for years and he had enough, please do not think im taking jamies side because what he did was very wrong and we are very disappointed in him but this boy gobbed of at jamie while he was under the influence. thank you 🙂

Yes we have and not for the better in some cases. I have lived in stone all my life ,was born here. Stone has changed beyond all recognition and not for the better at times.
