The boss of ABB in Stone met Prince Charles this week at the opening of a new exhibition at the Science Museum in London designed to inspire young people to take up a career in engineering.
Stephen Trotter, the division head of ABB Power Systems based in Stone, was at the opening of the ‘Engineer Your Future’ exhibition, which has been supported by ABB, with other representatives from ABB in the town.
Science Museum director Ian Blatchford said: “The aim of Engineer Your Future is to surprise, intrigue and tempt the vast numbers of young people who visit the Science Museum to think seriously about becoming engineers.”
The exhibition has been supported by a consortium of leading engineering firms, including ABB. More information at www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/engineeryourfuture
