Wow, we’ve made it to 12 years, an utterly mind-blowing milestone! We created a Little Bit of Stone to bring Stone focussed news to an online local audience, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved.
When ALBOS was created 12 years ago, we had clear reason for doing it – we wanted to put Stone front and centre when it came to delivering news, events, sports and to create a community that was a positive voice for Stone.
I find it humbling to hear the lovely things people say about ALBOS and what it means to the people of Stone. People stop me in the street, shop or pub and tell me what it means to them – it’s not just people on the internet – hiding behind a social media profile – it’s real people.
Stone is a wonderful town to call home, and it’s somewhere we have called home since 2005. We loved the community feel of the town and we continue to do what we can to support and grow that.
As we celebrate today I want to give a massive shout-out to the people who support what we do financially. From the advertisers who sponsor and support our website, the Facebook subscribers who contribute a small monthly fee and the people who click the button on our website and buy us a virtual coffee.
