On 1st January we kicked off a lovely photo project on our Instagram channel – and the photos have been flying in!

To take part, Instagrammers simply tag their photos taken in Stone with the hashtag #albos366. The aim is to produce a giant, crowdsourced album of photos to showcase our town over the course of 2016.

We’ve had over 200 photos shared in the first month – images of the canal, wildlife, sunrises and sunsets, snowy scenes and lots, lots more. We try to post a new photo each day, and lots of other people are taking part (and taking much better photos!). Thanks to everyone who’s got involved.

Below are just some of the photos that have been shared so far. See our Instagram page to see them all. If you’re on Instagram and you haven’t joined up yet, don’t worry – there’s another 11 months to go! We’d love to see your photos.

If you’re not an Instagram user, it’s a great free tool – just download the app to your mobile and get snapping ‘n’ sharing. Don’t forget the hashtag – #albos366
