A rugby team from Alleyne’s Academy in Stone were crowned under-14 borough champions at a schools event at Stafford Rugby Club.
Five schools competed for the title in a round-robin tournament on 23rd September, with Alleyne’s taking on teams from Stafford’s Walton High, Blessed William Howard Catholic High, Sir Graham Balfour and King Edward VI.

Alleyne’s came out on top, followed closely by Walton High School.
The tournament is a series of competitions hosted by Stafford Rugby Club which take place at the start of each academic year.
