A new £150,000 American-style diner is to open at Flip Out on the 1st April
This significant investment comes just months after the business celebrated its one year anniversary and is planned to create an additional 15 new jobs at their Stone Business Park complex.
Flip Out Stoke owners, Matthew Melling and Elliot Shuttleworth, said the latest project would see the existing cafe replaced by a new American-style diner called The Kitchen.
It will be operated by Dominic Bowers and his team at Totally Delicious, another North Staffordshire firm.
Mr Melling said:
“This significant investment will completely transform the existing cafe and dining experience at Flip Out. We already have ‘The Kitchen’ in one of our other Flip Out stores, and feedback from customers there has been amazing. We’re confident that the plush new environment and hot food choices in the new American diner will help add to an already great family day out.”
“Work on the renovation has already started and The Kitchen will be open for business on April 1. The project itself is very exciting but we’re also delighted the venture will help generate local employment opportunities by creating in the region of 15 additional jobs.
“Since opening in December 2015, we have created 150 jobs and we are proud that our latest investment will once again help boost employment in the area.”
The Kitchen will provide a relaxing environment for customers where they can enjoy coffees, milkshakes, smoothies, lunch and dinner, including dishes such as grilled skewers, flippin burgers, handmade pizza and warm salads. Visitors can keep an eye on all the trampoline action from the viewing gallery. It will serve barista style coffee and there will be boothed seating areas for extra privacy.
In addition to the American diner, the cafe renovation will also include two new meeting rooms for corporate events and private hire functions.
