Staffordshire Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious RTC in Hilderstone.
The collision happened on Sandon Road at around 10.25pm on Monday night, near to its junction with Dingle Lane. A silver Honda Civic left the road and collided with the front wall of a property near to the Roebuck pub. The 25 year-old male driver suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, where his condition is today described as critical but stable. The road was closed for around four hours while specialst officers carried out a detailed investigation of the scene.

Anyone who saw the collision, or the silver 03 plate Civic in the area beforehand, is asked to call 101 quoting incident 765 of 30 March.
