The party of nine Guides and their leaders will be spending some of their time at one of Girlguiding’s world centres, Our Cabana, which is situated in Cuernavaca, Mexico. During their stay, they will be taking part in a service project.

This trip forms part of a much bigger focus on international travel  for Staffordshire Guiding, as 2017 will see the county celebrating 100 years of Guiding. The aim is to send 100 members of  Staffordshire Girlguiding to the world centres: Switzerland, India, Mexico, England and the Kusafiri world centre in Africa.

Travel costs are funded by the participants themselves.  To this end, Mara is kicking off her fundraising with a coffee morning on 14th May at the Guide Headquarters at Westbridge Park from 10am.
