Aston Marina’s events team have landed prestigious award for their Boat House venue.
The team have been named West Midland Events Team of the Year in The Wedding Industry Awards’ regional final. The accolade follows hot on the heels of success in Enjoy Staffordshire’s Food & Tourism Awards, where the marina’s No.26 eatery won Independent Restaurant of the Year, and the Good Food Awards, where it was named a Good Food Award Winner 2020.
The National Wedding Industry Awards sees couples who have married at the venue the previous year rate various aspects of the product or service before a judging panel assesses the entries.A combination of average voter score and the judging process identifies the regional shortlists, with The Boat House shortlisted in both the Event Management Team of the Year and Rural Venue of the Year for the West Midlands region this year.
The venue will now represent the West Midlands in the Event Management Team of the Year category in the national finals in January 2020.

It’s not the first time The Boat House has been recognised for excellence – it was named Bridebook’s UK Wedding Venue of the Year for 2019.
