On Monday evening Staffordshire Police were called to an attempted robbery at The Wine Cellar on Oulton Road.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police told A Little Bit of Stone:

“We were called to reports of an attempted robbery at The Wine Cellar on Oulton Road, Stone after officers received the call at 7.39pm on Monday night (5th November 2018).
Nothing was taken and no one was injured however a man with a hammer damaged glass and a till before leaving.
Enquiries are being made and the investigation is on going.”
