Local Staffordshire artist David Shiers is set to display a collection of his paintings at a popup exhibition in Stone.
Exhibition Details
The exhibition will be hosted by Stone based Austin Roe Independent Estate Agents, located at Granville Square, 75A High Street. It will run from 21st November to 9th December 2024, open daily from 9am to 5pm.
After the Christmas lights switch on in Stone, visitors are warmly invited to stop by the exhibition for a complimentary glass of wine and some nibbles.
Discover David Shiers
David’s exhibition will feature a range of his creative paintings, showcasing his unique style and love for capturing light, atmosphere, and the essence of a subject. David has been painting professionally since 2003, after spending time working as a Graphic Designer in various studios and exhibiting widely around the country. His expressive and impressionistic approach to painting, using oils and gouache, is evident in his work, which often begins with a series of Plein Air sketches.
David is a member of The Wirral Society of Arts at the Williamson Art Gallery in Wirral, and The Society of Staffordshire Artists. His work has also been featured in The Artist & Illustrators magazine (June 2023), The Liverpool Art Book (2019), and Lancashire Life magazine (April 2001). This popup exhibition offers a great opportunity for the community to enjoy his artwork up close.
