Parents who have children with autism can find out more about living positively with the condition at an event in Stone on 26th November.
Specialist Machita Denny from Insight Autism Consultancy is running the workshop, between 10am and 1pm, on 26th November. Machita demystifies autism and translates it into daily life.
She says: “I have lived in and worked in the world of autism for 22 years. In that time I have had to learn what the term actually means, what the impacts on people who have autism are and how to best help and support them. There are also impacts on those who live with, support, care for, work with someone who has autism. I can help reduce these impacts and bring some positivity back into your life.”
