Stone Baked will be raising money for Arthritis Research UK at the farmers’ market on Saturday (3rd August) with a ‘Great British Garden Party’ event.
The High Street bakery will be setting up a garden party area at the front of their shop for the day, decorated with bunting, balloons and deckchairs. Cup cakes, brownies, gingerbread men and more will be for sale – with all profits going to the charity.
The shop is also launching a cupcake decorating competition on Saturday for children up to 15.
Youngsters will be able to buy a cake mix for £2 (which will make 12) and then submit three of their best for judging on Friday 9th August. The winners will be announced and the prize presented on Saturday 10th. The winning entrant will receive a birthday cake (on their special day) with a design created by the winner.
