Stone band Lost Scenes will be cycling over 200 miles and performing more than 30 acoustic gigs in just one week to raise money for Children In Need.
The Lost Scenes Cycle Gigathon will take place from Friday 11th to Friday 18th November, Children In Need day itself.
The challenge will see the four members of the up-and-coming indie band – Daryl Latham on vocals/guitar, Andy Price on drums, David Latham on bass and Dave Price on guitar – travelling from the BBC in London to the BBC in Manchester.
They’ll be stopping off to perform along the route to perform more than 30 acoustic gigs (including in Stone) and to raise money for the national charity.
They hope to raise £5,000 and you can donate by:
- Texting Lost55 followed by the amount (eg £10) to 70070
- Logging on to the Lost Scenes Cycle Gigathon Just Giving page

They’ve also recorded a special song for the challenge called Lullaby, which will be available to download from iTunes soon.
The band wrote on their MySpace page: “Over the past couple of months we’ve been busy planning and organising our biggest challenge to date as a band.
“Your support for this event will be epic and greatly appreciated!”
Lost Scenes formed in the summer of 2008 and headlined this year’s Live @ The Castle at Stafford Castle back in July.
They also played at DomFest in Stone, supported Ocean Colour Scene and have performed all over the country, including in London.
Their debut album – Seek And You Shall Find – is currently being mastered in the US and should be available before the end of the year.
You can listen to some of their music at their Myspace page and they’re also on Twitter and Facebook.
And you can see them live at Fat Cats in Hanley on Sunday 28th August.
