When the ‘Heart of England in Bloom’ judges visit Stone on 18th July, they’ll be bowled over by the stunning wildflower displays around the town. On roundabouts and the verges of busy roads, as well as in churchyards, they are a beautiful sight to behold.
Stone in Bloom is going for an eighth gold medal on the trot this year – hope all their hard work pays off. Find out more and get involved at their website HERE.
HUGE thanks to Christine Chinn for these photos of some of the wildflower beds around the town – at the Stone Business Park roundabout, by the Walton pedestrian bridge over the A34, and in St Michael’s churchyard. Christine sent hundreds of photos, and we’ll be posting more soon on our Facebook page HERE

Just brilliant – so much better than the formal planters. Look fantastic. Any tips from stone in bloom on creating similar displays in villages / gardens?
