Stone singer-songwriter Ben Owen is donating all the proceeds from his new single Famous to the Donna Louise Trust.
The single is available now from iTunes at 79p – click HERE to buy it – and all proceeds will go to the charity, which runs the Treetops children’s hospice at Trentham Lakes in Stoke-on-Trent. Ben said: “The Donna Louise Trust is a local charity that I would love to give my support to. This feels like the right thing to do, I’m really happy as a local musician to be able help and raise funds for such a worthy cause.”
Here’s the video for Famous…
As well as his own music, Ben organised a young musicians’ showcase at this year’s Stone Music Festival, one of the highlights of the event. He also runs a youth music project called Interjam at Stone Youth Centre after getting funding from O2’s Think Big project. More information about that here. Ben also stages a regular open mic night at The Star.
There’s lots more information about Ben and his music at his website HERE.
