Staffordshire Poet Laureate Bert Flitcroft will be running a series of poetry/creative writing workshops in local libraries on the theme of ‘Where we live…’ So why not come along and write about where you live?
Bert grew up in Lancashire, where he was born in 1946, and now lives in the Midlands. A graduate of Sheffield University, for some time he has been quietly, unassumingly spreading the poetry word as a teacher, mentor, workshop leader, poet-in-residence, and reader. He has had two collections of poetry published.
Stone Library workshop takes place on Saturday 28th May 10am-12pm.
