Bill Cash has retained his Stone constituency seat for the Conservative Party
Despite a hung parliament being declared, Stone’s incumbent MP, Sir Bill Cash, increased his majority from 16,250 to 17,495 with 63.2% of the vote, up from 54.7%.
Labour candidate Sam Hale built on his 2015 support and gained an additional 4,636 votes (14,119 in 2017 vs 9,483 in 2015), and an increase share of the votes, from 20.2% up to 28.2%.
Edward Whitfield saw the 2015 support for UKIP disappear as achieved only 2.7% of the vote, down from 16.2% in 2015.
Turnout was up on 2015, up from 70.05% to 73.91%.
