Staffordshire Police have confirmed that a body has been found in the search for Phillip, a 69-year-old man from Stone who was reported missing on Sunday, 10th November 2024.

Phillip was last seen around 9:30 am on Sunday morning, wearing a blue jumper, green fleece, and green jogging bottoms. He was believed to be driving a silver pickup truck. An appeal was issued on social media by Staffordshire Police, expressing concern for Phillip’s welfare and asking for the public’s help in locating him. Tragically, later that evening, at approximately 7:45 pm, a body was discovered near Stone. While formal identification is pending, police believe the deceased to be Phillip. Authorities have stated that they are not treating the death as suspicious, and a file has been prepared for HM Coroner.
