Bohemian Rhapsody will rock you this February Half Term

This February Half Term, youngsters who love to sing, dance and act are in for a real treat, with Stone’s Rooftop Studios set to host a 3-day performing arts workshop themed around the epic new Queen movie, Bohemian Rhapsody.

February 19th, 20th & 21st will see ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Somebody To Love’ and of course ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ amongst the songs that kids aged 3-15 years will get the chance to learn and sing. They’ll also learn a dance choreographed to ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ and act out scenes from the critically acclaimed film, with activities guided by Rooftop Studio’s team of teachers – all professional performers in their own right.

On Thursday afternoon, youngsters will perform a short show displaying everything that has been learnt that week for family and friends to enjoy. The three fun-filled days will also include face painting, stage make-up skills, costume design, arts and crafts and movie time.

Studio director, Laura Keeling, says: “Our school holiday workshops are getting more and more popular – kids just love the mix of learning and fun and games – there is never a dull moment! Youngsters can join us for anything from a single morning or afternoon session to the entire three days, and we have wraparound care options offering flexible half term childcare for working parents.”

The three-day workshop will take place in Rooftop Studios’ purpose-built studio above the High Street arcade in Stone. It will run on Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st February 2019 with single days costing £25 and the full three days £60.
