Stone Dominoes LFC continued their fine run of form with a comprehensive victory at Brereton – and another bag of goals for Mollie Prime.
Stone began the game well and soon were putting pressure on the Brereton defence. Stone’s strikers had a few shots on target but the Brereton keeper was on form. Brereton began having some more possession and the game was getting scrappy before Mollie Prime broke free from the defence and slotted home her first of the game to give Stone the lead.
Stone then settled and began to make the Brereton team chase the ball, some great possession between the whole team gave Mollie Prime again chance to get her second of the game. Mollie was again on fine form, and with her pace, Brereton struggled to keep up with her. Mollie was fouled one the edge of the box and a free kick was awarded – up stepped Nat Price who made it 3-0 to Dominoes by curling the free kick past the keeper.
Half time came and Stone were in full control, substitutions were made and fitted straight into the team, Mollie Prime was once again pressuring the defence and got a hat-trick making it 4-0. Brereton pulled one goal back, however Stone responded with a goal from Laura Barker, a well deserved goal after Barker having a great game on the wing.
Player of the match was hat-trick hero Mollie Prime for yet another brilliant performance.
