A bus service will be calling at a previously cut-off part of Walton from later this month.
Many people who live in and around Marlborough Road would have to walk a considerable distance to catch a bus both into and out of town, meaning some were left totally isolated.
But now, transport operator D&G Bus service will be running buses down the road from 27th March. Both the 13 and 13A services from Stone to Stafford will see a revised route and timetable come into effect, with some 13 service journeys diverted to serve Marlborough Road.
