Stowaway Stone cat hitches a lift to Hertfordshire

Stowaway Stone cat

This cat from Stone is far from home after hitching a ride in a van at Stone Recycling Centre.

A company from Hertfordshire was at the recycling centre on Stone Business Park on 16th October. Only when they got back to their base did they realise they’d managed to take home an extra passenger!

Perhaps the cat had picked up on the news that Hertfordshire has been ranked the third best place to live in the UK?!

Shires Vets is appealing for the owner to get in touch so that the well-travelled moggy (sex unknown) can be brought back home. The cat’s being well looked after at its temporary home, but is sure to be missed by its owner.

If the cat is yours, give Shires Vets a call on 01785 813955.

This cat has travelled quite far, but it’s not quite the daredevil as this one, which managed to take a ride on the wing of a microlight aircraft earlier this year!
