Can you help The Den?

Stone’s youth cafe The Den is on the look-out for more volunteers so it can open seven days a week.

The Den – based in the Frank Jordan Centre in Lichfield Street – currently opens on Monday, Friday and Sunday evenings and provides a safe space for Stone youngsters to meet, socialise and have fun. There are lots of activities and events and youngsters get involved in lots of community work in the town.

Organisers are really keen to open every night of the week – but need your help.

Volunteers, who must be over 18, only have to commit to one two-hour session each week and full training is provided. Call Lee Featherstone on 01785 850447 for more information or pop into The Den (Monday 5pm to 8pm, Friday 5pm to 8pm or Sunday 4pm to 8pm).
