Police set out concerns over local drug harm
Officers from the local policing team entered the address as part of a planned operation. The force confirmed that cannabis was found inside and has now been seized.
Sergeant Claire Goodridge, from Stafford LPT, which covers Stone, said,
“Substance misuse often leads to addiction, which can drive individuals to commit theft and other criminal activity to sustain their habit.”
She continued,
“Drug use is also a known catalyst for violence, posing a risk to community safety. The Stone neighbourhood policing team remains fully committed to breaking the cycle of drug misuse and ensuring a safer environment for all residents.”
Anyone with information or concerns about drug use can contact Staffordshire Police on 101. Reports can also be submitted through Live Chat on the force website.
