Last year, big-hearted Carl Rowley from Stone took on the arduous Mad Monk race, a 10k obstacle course, in Derby to fundraise for The Brain Tumour Research Charity. More on that HERE.
Carl’s obviously a glutton for punishment, cos this year he’s putting himself through a similar torturous ordeal! This time, he’ll be participating in the Midlands Tough Mudder event, described as “probably the toughest event on the planet”! Yet another gruelling obstacle course, designed by Special Forces to test all round strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie (click HERE to find out more, or if you’d like to tackle it yourself!).
On this occasion, Carl will be raising money for another extremely worthy cause close to his heart, The Alzheimer’s Society, for all the help and support they give, he says.
