Caroline and Daisy off to Crufts!

Good luck to Caroline Clancy Harvey and her three-year-old Staffie-Jack Russell-cross Daisy, who will be at Crufts on Sunday 10th March demonstrating rally obedience.

Caroline and Daisy were selected for the Crufts rally obedience demonstration team after winning a competition last November – and they’ve only been doing the activity since October!

Caroline has had Daisy since she was a 12-week-old pup – and she’s a lot more than just a dog to her.

Caroline said: “It’s such an honour to be going to Crufts – the biggest dog show in the world – to take part in the demonstration with Daisy. I’m so proud of her! Daisy is my lifeline. If it wasn’t for her I would find most days hard as I suffer from depression and anxiety. She gets me out of the house for daily walks and if I am having a bad day she always stays close to me.”

Rally is the latest dog sport to be recognised by the Kennel Club and is described as an “obedience exercise obstacle course”! There’s more information on the Kennel Club website HERE.
