Teacher Claire Hubbard, 47, who has been suffering from a life changing brain condition for four years, has been inundated with charitable donations from family and friends.

The mum of two is aiming to raise £13,000 for much needed treatment in the USA. The treatment in America involves scanning the brain to find out exactly where the condition is and how it can be treated.
Claire’s condition, intracranial hypotension, causes brain or spinal fluid to leak, resulting in a dramatic change in the quality of her life. She has a constant headache, has to lie down regularly and suffers body jerks and spasms.
She has gone from running marathons to having to use a wheelchair to get around.
David Preston, Paul Bond, Joe Amsellem and Chris Barlow are four such friends from Stone who are helping to raise funds for Claire’s cause.
Both Chris and Joe are running marathons: the London Marathon and Manchester Marathon, respectively. David and Paul are doing a tandem skydive in April.

Between the all four sponsors, they have predicted a combined total over £3,500 for Claire.
