The nurses of Shires Veterinary Practice in Stone have invited dog owners and their four-legged friends to join them on a charity dog walk to raise money for the City Dogs Home in Stoke-on-Trent.
The three-mile, steady-pace walk takes place on Saturday 29th June at Park Hall Country Park in Weston Coyney at 2pm.
Shires is asking for a £5 donation per dog which includes a doggy bandanna for the dogs to walk with (like the one above), light refreshments after the walk, and a doggy goody bag with donations from companies such as Burns and Antler.
Pre-registration is required at the Stone surgery on 01785 813955 to ensure enough goodies for all! Open to clients and non-clients. All dogs to be kept on a lead please and be comfortable walking in a group. Under-16s are very welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
