Stone Gardening Club’s next meeting features a talk from 2013 Chelsea Flower Show gold medallists from Leicestershire on enjoying water in small garden spaces.
The meeting takes place at Christ Church Centre on Thursday 14th November at 7.45pm and special guest is Linda Smith from Waterside Nursery in Sharnford, Leicestershire, a specialist in pond plants and containers. Entry is £1.50, inclusive of tea and biscuits.

The nursery has been RHS exhibitors since 2005 and the medals for the last few years are:
- 2013 – Third Gold Medal for aquatic plants at Chelsea Flower Show followed by a Gold Medal at NEC Gardeners World and a Gold Medal at Tatton Park
- 2012 – Silver Gilt Award at Harrogate Spring Flower Show. Gold Medals at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and NEC Gardeners World followed by a Silver Gilt at RHS Tatton Park
- 2011 – Gold Award at Harrogate Spring Flower Show and a Gold Medal at The Chelsea Flower Show. Gold also at RHS NEC Gardener’s World and Tatton Park
- 2010 – Premiere Award at Harrogate Spring Flower Show, Silver Gilt Medals at Malvern Spring and their first Chelsea Flower Show followed by 3 Gold Medals at NEC Gardeners World, Hampton Court and Tatton Park.
