Christ Church girls crowned Staffordshire futsal champs

Christ Church Academy’s Year 7 futsal team are Staffordshire champions and will now be representing the county at a West Midlands event later this year.

The team won seven of the eight games they played at the tournament at Fenton Manor Sports Complex in Stoke-on-Trent, leading them to win the overall competition.

They now move forward to represent Staffordshire at the regional competition.

PE teacher Mr. Bailey said: “This was a fantastic team effort and the girls were deserved winners.”
