The Christmas season at Sandon Hall gets under way on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd November with the Christmas fair weekend.
It will be the hall’s largest Christmas fair so far, with a huge selection of crafts, treats, food, drink and gifts to inspire your festive period.
Now in its third year, the event has become renowned with visitors across Staffordshire, and 2015 will see the fair spread across two days for the first time. This year, in addition to the wide range of stalls selling gifts, food and toys, there will also be Carol singers to entertain crowds – as well as a live band performing classic Christmas hits – all in the surrounds of the beautiful neo-Jacobean mansion.
What’s more, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the hall’s 50-acre formal gardens, which will be open to the public throughout the duration of the event, and refreshments – including a fully licenced bar – will also be available for purchase.
Looking ahead to this year’s Christmas fair, general manager at Sandon Hall, Jon Guard, said: “The event has become a firm favourite with visitors since it began two years ago and this year we have decided to stage it over to two days in response to the positive feedback. The Hall really does look fabulous when it is decked out for the seasonal celebrations, and seeing all the wonderful things to buy, eat and drink really gets you in the festive spirit. It all makes for a fantastic family day out.”
The fair is open from 10am to 6pm on the Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on the Sunday.

The Christmas fair is the first of a number of magical Christmas events at Sandon Hall. There are special Prosecco tasting nights on 3rd and 17th December; Santa will be at Sandon on 20th December; and on the 21st is something different for this year – ‘Ghost Stories for Christmas’!
