Residents in Stone will have the chance to come together next month for an evening of reflection as Isobel Whittaker Funeral Services hosts its second Christmas Memorial Service. The gathering will take place on Thursday 4 December in President’s Hall at Walton Community Centre, starting at 7pm.
The event is open to anyone who wants to spend a little time remembering someone they have lost.
This year’s service will follow a similar pattern to last year, with music, a few readings and a short pause for quiet reflection. Anyone who would like to include a picture of a loved one can send it in advance and it will appear as part of the service.
Light refreshments will be offered and people are welcome to linger for a chat or simply to sit for a few minutes before heading home. The hall is easy to reach from Whitemill Lane and parking is available at Walton Community Centre.
