St. Michael’s teacher and mum-of-two Claire Hubbard has expressed her gratitude after an unexpected £10,000 donation that has made her dream come true.

Claire, 47, from Eccleshall, has been suffering with constant head-pains and seizures for four years, which has resulted in her seeking specialist help in the USA. Her condition may not be ‘life threatening’ but it has been ‘life changing’.

The £10,000 donation and other fundraising events now means that Claire can start planning her trip to the USA that will give her the best opportunity to have her life back.

On Facebook, Claire said:

Due to recent increasing awareness of my needs, we have received an anonymous, huge donation of £10,000. As you can imagine, it was a very emotional and unexpected amount of money to receive, of which has now created the way to put the dream into reality. I cannot express how I felt when I found out – it’s too hard to put into words. Let’s just say there were plenty of tears!

Any unused  funds will be donated to the CSF Research Charity.
