Stone Revellers are heading for Belle Epoque Paris for their latest production in the town.
The Revellers will perform A Flea In Her Ear, the classic French farce by Georges Feydeau, at St Michael’s Hall in Lichfield Street from September 14th to 17th at 7.30pm
Set in turn of the century Paris, the show features more double entendres and cases of mistaken identity than the sauciest Whitehall farce.
The beautiful Raymonde Chandebise begins to suspect her suddenly inattentive husband is having an affair so she enlists the help of her best friend Lucienne in setting a trap for her husband, Victor Emmanuel. The idea is to catch the philanderer in the act by enticing him to a rendezvous at a hotel. In the best tradition of classic farce the plot backfires in spectacular fashion.
Tickets are available from the Home & Colour Centre in the High Street or by calling 01785 817307.
