“It is with heavy hearts that we announce today that we are looking to move on from Clover. We say move on, as our hopes are that someone else is wanting to take on the beautiful premises and business we have created, and make it their own.

When we were given the opportunity to open our own little coffee shop, it was a dream that we had talked about for years finally becoming a reality. We never did dream that it would go as well as it did. We have achieved and learnt so much which we are so proud of…opening in the middle of a pandemic, now through a financial crisis…but, through it all, Clover has been our little safe haven, our constant that kept on thriving despite it all, and where we have had the absolute pleasure of meeting and befriending some amazing people. This being the one thing we know we will miss the most. Stone is a wonderful town, and we feel privileged to have been able to operate our coffee shop and serve the many people of the town that visited. Thank you for having us and supporting us the way you have.
Our reasons for making this decision are entirely personal, after losing my father a few months ago I want to take some time to be more present for my family. Shay has got some exciting opportunities to consider and plan for, which if she were to pursue will take her away from Stone for a while, therefore making it difficult for us to carry on running Clover.

We wanted to also take this opportunity to thank our incredible team. Aimee, Ben, Nic, Lottie, Frankie, Jackie. Without you, this journey wouldn’t have been possible let alone nearly as fun. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Life is too short to stand still and wonder what if, we have learnt that. If you are looking for your next exciting opportunity that involves selling beautiful coffee, food and cakes, along with some great company, get in touch with us.
Please note, we will continue to operate as usual with all the goodness you have come to expect and love being served up until the day we can hopefully hand over the keys to the next lucky tenant. We will keep you all posted.

All enquiries to Leanne (clvrcafe@gmail.com or 07494875447)
All our Love Team Clover 🤍”

We want to wish Leanne, Shay and all the team our best wishes.
