New signs have gone up around Stone as the borough council continues its crackdown on dirty dog owners.
Stafford Borough Council says it will be taking a zero tolerance approach to irresponsible dog owners as part of the campaign to make them clean up the mess. A number of existing officers at the council have been trained to issue £75 fines to the ignorant pet owners.
The council is targeting reported hotspots, as well as parks and open spaces. And people in Stone are being encouraged to contact the authority to tell them about dog fouling problems in their area.
For more information on dog fouling, and to report incidents, email info@staffordbc.gov.uk, call 01785 619000 or complete an online report form here.
The borough council has published a list of hotspots that have already been reported, which includes these sites in Stone:

- Westbridge Park
