Danni Braine selected as Green Party candidate for Stone, Great Wyrley and Penkridge

Danni Braine (Green Party)

Danni Braine has been selected to stand as the Green Party candidate for Stone, Great Wyrley and Penkridge.

Danni has lived in Staffordshire for 13 years and in her own words has “grown to love the area”. She grew up in Lowestoft, did her Bachelors Degree in Cardiff and her Masters Degree in London, spent 10 years working in Cardiff and then re-located to Staffordshire. She works in finance and holds a senior position at a UK bank.

She has helped the Green Party in their campaigns in South Staffordshire for some time, but Danni is excited to hear more from people right across the constituency and to speak out for the community on the issues that matter.

She is a keen runner and has run seven marathons (including London twice!) and will be running the Stone 10k in June. She has previously run the Penkridge Fun Run and won a trophy for second female.

Danni is passionate about the environment and the NHS and wants to do all she can to support both. Danni said:

“The Green Party has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, we have strong policies which are fully costed, and we are a credible contender in this election.

I am proud to be the candidate for the Green Party for Stone, Great Wyrley and Penkridge and am looking forward to the next (almost!) 6 weeks”
