A Stone designer helped an Eccleshall business to get the seal of approval from Dragons’ Den’s Theo Paphitis.
Sincere Moments, which is run by Carole Renshaw, was selected by the master entrepreneur on Twitter at the end of April as one of his top six businesses in his ‘Small Business Sunday’ initiative. Known as #SBS, Theo chooses six businesses each Sunday to promote to his 361,000 followers – and they also feature on the SBS website.
Carole, a professionally trained civil celebrant, has been running her business for two years and over 10,000 people have seen her take a funeral, wedding, baby naming or renewal of vows ceremony.
Stone designer Paul Harrison – who runs Paul Harrison Design Studio – played his part in Carole’s Theo success by designing her logo and website.
Carole said: “This has just blown me away. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that after two years in business I’d be chosen for something like this. But I kept plugging away and it’s paid off!”
Paul said: “I’m delighted that Sincere Moments won the SBS award from Theo Paphitis. Having worked with Carole on her logo and website it’s a great achievement for local businesses all round – I hope it pushes her business onwards and upwards.”
