Police in Nottingham have made a direct appeal to a teenager missing from a village near Stone to get in touch as they grow increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Leanne Foreman, aged 15, left her address in Coton Clansford at lunchtime on Tuesday 9th November. She has links to Nottingham and it is believed she may have travelled to the city shortly after she left her home. Leanne has been spoken to on the phone since she was reported missing but there has been no further contact since 15th November.
Police are now increasingly concerned for her welfare and are appealing for Leanne, or anyone who has seen her or knows where she is, to contact them immediately.
Inspector Keith Priest, of Nottingham City South police, said: “We are making a direct appeal to Leanne to get in touch with us. Although she has been spoken to since she was reported missing, there has now been no contact with her for over a fortnight and we are growing more and more concerned for her welfare. If you see or hear this appeal Leanne, please ring me direct on 07792 437353 and tell me you are OK. I understand you may be reluctant to contact us, but our priority is to find you and I want you to let us know you are safe and well.
“We know Leanne has associates in the area and would appeal to any of them to contact us immediately if they have seen her or know where she is. We would also urge members of the public who recognise Leanne from the photograph and have seen her in the Nottingham area to also contact us.”
Leanne is 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build and with shoulder-length blonde hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact Nottingham police on 0300 300 9999 or Staffordshire Police on 0300 123 4455.
