Stone’s Rogue Boutique will celebrate 11 years of bringing unique and fun fashion to the town’s High Street this March.
The original Roguette, business owner Lexi Bagnall, told A Little Bit of Stone about hitting this fantastic achievement.
“March 2024 marks the 11th year of our buzzing boutique serving the latest fashion to women of all ages in Stone.
We source products from a variety of brands including Ichi, Numph, Sugarhill Brighton, Sarta, Saint Tropez, Cara & The Sky and Noisy May to name a few. I really hope that having such a wide range allows us to appeal to women with all different tastes and styles.
Rogue is well known for vibrant colours as well as classic neutrals. We stock a mix of wardrobe staples and stand out pieces. And where possible, we try to buy items that are produced using sustainable materials and we also stock some vegan fabrics.
We believe that there is something special about walking into a shop being able to feel the fabrics, trying on something new, and leaving knowing it looks great!”
For those who have walked past the store, on the site of Stone’s former cinema, and never peered inside, Lexi explains her background and how she ended up being one of Stone’s longest-serving women’s fashion boutiques.
Most days, you’ll find Lexi in the store with local legend Shop Dog Bodhi! You’ve probably seen him sat by the door, always happy to greet customers with his waggy tail.
“I’ve been in the clothing industry for a number of years, and previously had a shop in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
I loved the vibe in Stone, people have their own style and I thought it would fit in well with the spirit of my independent store, it just made sense to move here
During these 11 years we have faced challenges, as most High Street retailers have, but through the continued support of our loyal customers we have needed to expand our store, not once, but twice! We can’t go any further back without people getting changed in the car park!
We would love to invite customers, both old and new, to join us for our birthday celebrations on Saturday 16th March! We will be offering discounts on the day and obviously, no birthday would be complete without cake xx”
