Stone performing arts school Rooftop Studios has plenty to keep little ones from as young as 18 months active, with different classes taking place almost every day of the week – and, with free trial classes available, you can make sure your little one really loves a class before signing up.
Budding ballet stars can get a head start with the tiniest ballerinas, aged just 2.5 – 3 years, having their own dedicated dance class before progressing through grades taught to the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus by experienced, qualified teachers.
Disco Divas also get to strut their stuff with ‘Little Disco’ starter class for 3 – 5 year olds and Junior Disco, aimed at 6 – 10 year olds while, for those who have been inspired by the high-energy street dance routines showcased by acts like ‘Diversity’ on countless TV talent shows, Wednesday evenings offer the chance to get into the Hip-hop groove.
Friday mornings play host to the studio’s Parent & Toddler class where, from 9.45am, 18 month – 3 year olds and their carers join in with lots of nursery rhymes with actions, dancing and play. Saturdays, meanwhile, are Little Stage Academy day; offering tuition in singing, dancing and drama by talented industry professionals.
